Verinder Sharma is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner offering online therapy for people who are holding it together on the outside but running on empty inside. His clients are often self-aware, capable, and have already tried talking therapy — yet still find themselves caught in stress responses, emotional reactivity, or a deep sense of disconnection from their bodies.
His work is grounded in Somatic Experiencing®, a body-based approach developed by Dr Peter Levine to support nervous system regulation and the resolution of trauma. Rather than revisiting the past or pushing for insight, Verinder works with present-moment sensation and careful pacing — helping the nervous system settle, reorganise, and respond with more choice over time.
Before training as a therapist, Verinder spent years working in high-pressure professional environments, and this shapes his particular attunement to clients who carry a lot of responsibility. His approach is also informed by extended personal therapeutic work, including study influenced by Gabor Maté's understanding of trauma and adaptation. He works in English and Spanish, and all sessions are offered online.
