These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Lineage ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of lineage.coach and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, claiming a profile, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Lineage is a practice management and directory platform for transformational coaches, healers, and guides ("Practitioners") and the clients they serve ("Clients"). The Service includes public profiles, a searchable directory, scheduling and booking tools, invoicing, messaging, and optional integrations with third-party services such as Google Calendar, Stripe, and Recall.ai.
Practitioners retain ownership of the content they publish (bio, offerings, images, testimonials, notes, messages). By publishing content on Lineage, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service.
You agree not to publish content that is false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory, or unlawful. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your credentials, the services you offer, and any claims you make about outcomes.
Lineage is a directory and a set of tools. We do not provide coaching, therapy, medical, mental health, legal, or financial services, and we do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality, safety, or outcomes of any Practitioner's work. Relationships between Practitioners and Clients are solely between them.
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription pricing is displayed before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not entitle you to a refund of the current period except where required by law.
Payments, including Practitioner subscriptions and Client payments to Practitioners for sessions, are processed by Stripe. Lineage is not a party to the payment relationship between a Practitioner and a Client. Refunds for session payments are at the Practitioner's discretion.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (Calendar), Stripe (payments), Postmark (email), and Recall.ai (optional meeting recording). Your use of those integrations is subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

The Lineage name, logo, interface design, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or software beyond the limited license to use the Service as intended.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive (payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible threat. Practitioners and Clients rely on the Service at their own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lineage and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lineage from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your conduct, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
