About Valerie

Valerie Oula is a New York-based energy healing expert, author, and founder of Modern Ritual NYC. A former NYC fashion industry casting director, she transformed her path after a 2006 New Year's Eve meditation at a Zen Buddhist monastery led her to Reiki — and to officially opening her healing practice in 2011.

Drawing on 12+ years of experience, Valerie combines Reiki, somatic coaching, NLP, hypnosis, and sound healing into her proprietary Integrative Energy Healing approach. Named 'The Energy Resetter' by Town & Country Magazine, she has partnered with Google, Lululemon, and Mandarin Oriental.

Her family lineage includes a great-great-grandfather from Laos who served as dream advisor to a King, informing her deep-listening approach to transforming stuck patterns at the root energetic level.
