About Stevie

Stevie Bowen is a New York City-based dating coach, author, and founder of The City of Dating — a platform built on the belief that dating can be meaningful and even enjoyable, rather than a source of exhaustion and confusion. A self-described "British Texan," she grew up between a small town in Texas and a city north of London, which gave her a layered view of how love and connection take shape differently depending on where you are in the world.

After more than a decade navigating NYC's dating landscape, Stevie channeled her experiences into a memoir, *The City of Dating*, published in 2021. What started as personal reflection — letters written to past dates and relationships — grew into a coaching practice rooted in one idea: throw out the dating rulebook and write your own.

Stepping into coaching formally in late 2023 after earning her ICF certification through the Academy of Creative Coaching, Stevie works with singles on building real dating confidence, recognizing the patterns holding them back, and creating practical strategies for moving from early dating stages into genuine connection. Her sessions are warm, structured, and deeply personal — no generic scripts, no one-size-fits-all advice.
