Sarah Baldwin is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and member of the world-renowned Polyvagal Theory training team, based in Los Angeles, CA. She specializes in somatic trauma healing, with a focus on nervous system regulation, attachment work, and parts and inner child work.
Before training professionally in these modalities, Sarah came to this work as someone in need of healing herself. She spent decades stuck in dysregulation, trying talk therapy, books, and weekend retreats — finding only temporary relief. It wasn't until she discovered somatic healing that everything changed, and she now brings that firsthand understanding to every client she works with.
Sarah's approach is grounded in the latest neuroscience and trauma research, using Polyvagal Theory and Somatic Experiencing to help clients get out of survival states and into a regulated, empowered life. Her work addresses relationships, purpose, emotional wellbeing, and physical health — all through the lens of the nervous system.
She has been featured in Forbes, Her Agenda, Thrive Global, and NewsNation, and hosts the You Make Sense podcast.
