Mitra Sessions helps pregnant people, birth partners, and birth workers use Reiki to bring more calm, ease, and support into pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
Her work centers on making birth feel less frightening and more grounded. She teaches practical Reiki methods for pain relief, emotional steadiness, and better support in the birth room, especially for people facing complicated or traumatic births.
Mitra has worked as an energy healer since 2010 and began teaching Reiki for Birth Workers and Reiki for Birth Partners after seeing how much it could change care for families. She trained as a Reiki Master Teacher in 2013 and blends Western and Japanese Reiki traditions with a perinatal focus.
