Mariana Pardes is a Philadelphia-based somatic practitioner who helps people develop a deeper relationship with their body as a pathway to healing from trauma, anxiety, and patterns rooted in low self-worth. She draws on Rubenfeld Synergy Method (Transformative Touch), Somatic Experiencing, IFS, and polyvagal theory to help clients attune to bodily sensations and release deeply held tension.
Mariana's own journey with somatics — which began in 2015 — shapes how she works. Having experienced firsthand how talk therapy can name patterns without shifting them, she brings particular sensitivity to the gap between intellectual insight and embodied change. Her style is collaborative, gentle, and grounded in curiosity.
She connects especially well with people navigating complex trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing, as well as LGBTQ+ folks, neurodivergent people, artists, Jews, and adult children of immigrants. Mariana currently offers virtual sessions and a sliding-scale audio series of guided somatic practices.
