Ky Ngo Dennis is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) based in San Diego who has spent over fifteen years helping people work through trauma, loss, and disconnection. Her practice blends body-based techniques — including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and acupressure-based breathwork — with spiritually-informed practices like guided imagery, energy work, and Buddhist teachings.
Growing up in a working-class immigrant family gave Ky a personal understanding of how cultural pressures and difficult life experiences can keep people from living authentically. That lived experience shapes how she works — with a calming presence, strong intuition, and particular sensitivity to the needs of Asian American clients and those who want spirituality woven into their healing.
Ky has been a student of Buddhism, energy medicine, and spiritual teachings for over twenty years, and holds certifications in Neuro Emotional Technique, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and Reiki at the Master level. She also facilitates specialized groups for spiritual practitioners and the AAPI community, where connection and being truly witnessed becomes part of the healing process.
