Khanyisa Mnyaka is a trauma-informed life coach who grew up in a small village in South Africa and now works with women virtually from the US. Her own journey — navigating poverty, a religious upbringing, and coming out as a queer woman while living abroad in South Korea — gave her a firsthand understanding of what it takes to stop hiding and start living as yourself.
She holds a BA in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology from the University of the Western Cape, and is also a trained mediator with a background in nonviolent communication. Her coaching is holistic, weaving together mind, body, and spirit while drawing directly on her psychology training to help clients understand how their past shapes their present.
Khanyisa works primarily with women who feel stuck — women who've tried therapy, seminars, and self-help but still find themselves in the same place. Her 1:1 work goes face-to-face with limiting beliefs, traces them to their roots, and builds new ways of being. She also coaches couples on communicating with more honesty and care, and runs group programs for women who grow best in community.
