Kai Cheng Thom is a somatically trained coach, conflict resolution practitioner, and former clinical social worker based in Toronto. Through ARISE EMBODIMENT, she works at the intersection of body, mind, and collective healing — drawing on over a decade of community mental health experience and two Master's degrees from McGill University.
Her approach is anchored in the Loving Justice methodology, weaving somatic practices — breathwork, Thai massage, movement for trauma — with conflict resolution tools and a grounding in transformative social politics. She's especially attuned to queer, trans, and BIPOC individuals navigating identity, trauma, and community conflict.
She also works with organizations on restorative conflict resolution and cultural transformation. An internationally published, award-winning author, her writing on love and survival runs alongside her coaching practice.
