Jamie Janko is the founder of ReWild Breathwork, a global certification school for trauma-informed somatic breathwork facilitators. His path began after a career in Major League Baseball, when he stumbled into what he thought was a meditation class — and found himself in a breathwork journey instead. That single session cracked something open: it gave him a way back into his body, helped him regulate anxiety, and revealed a resilience he hadn't known was there.
Since then, Jamie has trained extensively across modalities including breath science, somatics, trauma and nervous system education, NLP, hypnosis, tantra, shamanic practices, and Thai yoga massage. He has lived and studied abroad, immersed in both modern and ancient healing traditions.
His approach bridges the scientific and the sacred, grounding work in polyvagal theory and breath physiology while honoring breathwork as a ceremonial and transformative practice. ReWild trainings emphasize trauma-awareness, hands-on facilitation, and embodied safety — producing facilitators who are ready to hold space, not just certified.
Through virtual, hybrid, and in-person trainings in Los Angeles, Dublin, and Bali, ReWild has certified hundreds of practitioners across 20+ countries.
