About Gavin

Gavin Meenan is a men's life coach based in Ireland who works with men at real crossroads — those stuck in patterns they can't break, dealing with substance abuse, relationship breakdown, or feeling lost and directionless after years of just going through the motions. His path into this work started in the gym as a personal trainer, where he quickly realized that the physical transformation was rarely the actual problem. The men he worked with were carrying emotional weight, disconnection, and unresolved pain that no number of workouts could touch.

Over more than a decade of one-on-one work, Gavin developed a direct, honest approach grounded in deep inner work. He helps men release what they've been carrying, get clear on what they actually want, and build the kind of life they can look back on with pride. He works through 1:1 coaching engagements — typically three months to a year of weekly sessions with journaling and ongoing support between calls — and through immersive men's retreats across Ireland.

Gavin is a bestselling author, host of The Modern Warrior Podcast, and has been recognized as Men's Empowerment Advocate of the Year (2025) and Coach of the Year in 2024 and 2025. He's been featured on RTÉ, Virgin Media, Ireland AM, and in the Irish Independent. A Donegal native and former European powerlifting champion, he brings both personal lived experience and years of refined coaching craft to the men he works with.

A bespoke, individualised coaching journey for men seeking real change. Weekly sessions over a minimum of 3 months (typically up to a year) tackling root-level patterns, mindset, and deep inner work. Includes personalised journal work between sessions and ongoing accountability and support.

Men's Retreats

Weekend / In person

Intensive transformational retreats (Warrior Weekends) across Ireland where men come together to share their stories, do deep inner work, and support each other's growth. Facilitated by Gavin with a focus on emotional resilience, honesty, and real breakthroughs.
