Devon Brooks Walker is a transformational coach who has walked a long and winding road to get here. Born in California to a Bolivian immigrant mother and a working-class North Carolina father, Devon was diagnosed with depression at nine years old and spent the next two decades trying to fix himself, others, and the world around him. His turning point came at a 10-day silent meditation retreat — the beginning of a years-long journey through philosophy, men's work, yoga, dance, psychedelic therapy, and ceremonial healing.
After co-founding a social impact startup in NYC, losing his dream job at a hedge fund, going through a painful breakup, and watching his family collapse all within a single year, Devon eventually walked out the other side. He spent a year traveling, dismantling his old identity, and learning what it meant to live without the story that he needed fixing.
Now he works with individuals and men's groups to help them do the same. Through 1:1 coaching on Zoom, he helps clients cultivate self-love, find purpose, deepen spiritual connection, and take courageous action. His men's work centers on healing toxic or immature masculinity and growing into what he calls generative, safe, and devoted mature masculinity.
Devon's approach is grounded in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and radical honesty — and his mission, as he puts it, is simply to help you "unfix yourself."
