Dariela Vasquez

Dariela Vasquez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and somatic psychotherapist in New York. Through her practice, Planting Seeds Somatic Therapy, she offers virtual therapy for first-generation women — the teachers, social workers, artists, and caregivers who carry much for others but rarely pause to be held themselves.

Her approach draws on Depth Psychology, Internal Family Systems, and somatic practices to help clients reconnect with their bodies, process grief and childhood trauma, and interrupt intergenerational cycles. As a first-gen Dominican herself, she understands the particular weight of living between two worlds — and what it takes to come home to yourself.

Dariela specializes in grief and loss, childhood and intergenerational trauma, depression, ancestral healing, and women's health, with over a decade of experience working with women of color. She also hosts Heart to Heart, a monthly virtual empowerment circle for first-gen women ready to grow a life that feels like theirs.
