Andria Lea is a Brooklyn-born somatic therapist with 15 years of experience helping people heal from trauma, chronic pain, and the emotional patterns held in the body. She came to this work through her own healing journey — after struggling with chronic pain from Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, she discovered how deeply the mind, body, and emotions are intertwined, and trained for three years to help others find the same relief she found.
Her practice blends touch and talk therapy, drawing on somatic experiencing, Sensorimotor Art Therapy, and nervous system work to reach what words alone can't. Sessions happen both seated and lying down on a padded table — always fully clothed — and are designed to be collaborative and self-directing rather than prescriptive.
Andria specializes in Wounded Inner Child work, CPTSD, and attachment healing, working with people who feel stuck, depleted, or disconnected from themselves. She also offers virtual sessions and Sensorimotor Art Therapy, a non-verbal, body-based modality using bilateral movement. Her office is in Manhattan's Flatiron district.
