Amy Williams is a licensed mental health counselor and somatic practitioner based in Milford, Massachusetts, who works with women navigating complex trauma, chronic stress, and the patterns that talk therapy alone couldn't reach. She founded Felt Sense Psychotherapy & Somatic Coaching on the understanding that lasting healing lives in the body—not just the mind—and that learning to feel safe in your nervous system is the foundation for everything else.
Her approach weaves together Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment Theory, and trauma-informed yoga. She came to this work through her own path: after finishing graduate school and becoming a therapist, she still felt unequipped to help people heal trauma—until her own experiences with somatic work, yoga, and psychedelics opened a different door. That personal reckoning informs how she meets her clients.
Amy works with women both in-person in Milford and virtually, and also offers psychedelic preparation and integration coaching for those intentionally exploring non-ordinary states. Outside of her practice, she's a homeschooling mother to two young children who finds her own regulation in nature.
