Ajaya Sommers is a somatic teacher, author, and trauma-informed practitioner with over 30 years of experience helping people return to their own aliveness. She created Core Embodiment®—a system that weaves somatic practice, nervous system science, and contemplative traditions—to help people close the gap between what they know spiritually and what they can actually feel and live.
Her work is particularly suited for people who've already done significant inner work—therapy, meditation, trauma healing—but still sense something unintegrated. She draws on Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, the NARM trauma model, and Continuum movement, centering on body intelligence, relational repair, and what she calls 'transformational intimacy.'
Ajaya offers one-on-one coaching, in-person immersions, and ongoing group containers. She has presented at Esalen, IONS, the SAND Conference, and the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, and has taught across the US and Europe since 2012.
